Treeline is a long-time owner and operator of office and multi-family properties in New York and New Jersey. The Garden City, N.Y., firm is headed by Frances Schor. Her sons Michael and Howard Schor are executive vice presidents. Wilensky was named senior vice president of business development. He will focus on advising loan or property owners that are under some degree of pressure. The clients might have assets that are already distressed or face potential problems. "There are a lot of assets where the lender is not going to immediately foreclose, but where the bank is questioning the value of the debt and of the underlying property," said Wilensky. "They are concerned about what their exit strategy should be." Wilensky's division, Treeline Realty Advisors, will also look for co-investment opportunities. Wilensky spent five years at BofA, where he placed B-notes and mezzanine debt with outside investors. He previously was a director of TIAA-CREF and a vice president of Chase Manhattan. |
